Washington Square Park

Meandering around a city like a local is pretty much all I want to do when I travel. I don't like to be tied to a schedule, unless there is a restaurant I am dying to eat at that requires reservations, then I will make an exception. I always see more than I could imagine when I don't plan and just do. Washington Square park wasn't on my list of to dos, it was a happen stance that I wandering through and I was thankful that I did.

   

New York City Facades

There's something about the classic New York City building facade that always gets me. I imagine the interior of places like this to have exposed brick walls, hardwood floors and lofted ceilings. Lucky for us, our airbnb checked all of the requirements on our list. Love visiting but always love returning home. Have a great weekend!

   

Empire State of Mind

Reminiscing about a girls trip I took exactly one year ago today to New York City to celebrate a friend's birthday. Above or below, the New York City skyline is an darn thing of beauty.
