To recap my Vegas trip in one word - spectacular. We laid poolside, walked the strip, watched the Badgers, got dressed up and partied the night away and gambled - a lot! We went to Vegas as novice Blackjack players, and came back knowing you should always split aces and eights and never hit on a hard 17 - unless you like to live on the edge and take chances, which we sometimes did. Our routine was to always roll up to a completely empty table where the minimum bet was $10 or $15 per hand. By the fourth casino, we were hitting and splitting like we were pros.
Thanks to the Bellagio, Venetian and Cosmopolitan for being good to us. Aria, you provided us with a roof over our head and an insane view of the strip so I can't complain if you took some of our gambling money!
I had such a great time celebrating my friend's Golden Birthday that we hope to make it an annual trip. As long as she keeps having birthdays, Vegas will keep calling our names!
